MURFREESBORO, N.C.—Joe Wallace Williams Jr., 51, of Murfreesboro, N.C., died May 4, 2011, at his home.

Mr. Williams was a native of Drewryville.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Monday at Pleasant Plain Baptist Church, Drewryville. Burial with military honors will be held at Pleasant Plain Church Cemetery.

Survivors include his wife, Gwendolyn D. Williams; mother Annie P. Gary of Drewryville; sisters Barbara, Cheryl, Shantel and Gloria Gary, and Jackie Jones, all of  Drewyville; and six brothers, including Arnold, Mitchell, Kenneth and Michael Gary, all of Drewryville.

Hood Funeral Home, Conway, N.C., is in charge of arrangements.
