Gilbert J. (Gillie) Harrup, Sr., 69 of Yale died Friday, April 29, 2011. Survivors include his wife Phyllis Toombs Harrup; daughter Kim Harrup Drewry and husband John; son Gilbert J. “Bert” Harrup, Jr. and wife Carlo Jo; grandchildren Blake and Haley Drewry and Macy and Marina Harrup; and brother Floyd Harrup. A graveside funeral service will be held 2pm Sunday, May 1, 2011 at Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Gillie’s home. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Sussex Courthouse Volunteer Fire Department, P.O.
