COURTLAND—The law firm of Stallings and Bischoff is opening an office in Courtland.

Partner Jack Randall, a former prosecutor in the Southampton County Commonwealth Attorney’s Office, said Wednesday the new office at 28319 Southampton Parkway across from Food Lion will open in about two weeks.

“It’s a very good community,” Randall said. “It’s been very good to our firm and to me personally. There’s good business in the Western Tidewater area.”

The office will be staffed by attorney Drew Page and paralegal Susan Wood.

The new office will be Stallings and Bischoff’s fourth location. The firm also has offices in Suffolk, Virginia Beach and the Eastern Shore and employs 36, including 14 lawyers.

The firm does civil and commercial litigation, appeals, bankruptcy, construction law, personal injury, real estate, traffic offenses, divorce, appeals and more.
