Winner gets $50 savings bond in Easter egg hunt

FRANKLIN—Aniyah Cuter won a $50 savings bond for finding the golden egg in the 8- to 10-year-old group during the April 16 Easter egg hunt sponsored by the Downtown Franklin Association.

Golden Commemorative Presidential Coins were awarded to golden egg winners Iyarri Hunt in the 2- to 4-year-old group and Jahmajae Bynum for the 5- to 7-year-olds.

Franklin High School’s DECA Club members hid the eggs at Barrettt’s Landing. Advance America provided candy and Franklin Dairy Queen gave ice cream coupons for inside eggs.

Assisting the Easter Bunny was Southampton High School’s Key Club.

Downtown Franklin Association board members and volunteers on hand were Beverly Myers, Anne Williams, Kathy Worrell, Juanita Richards, Jack Norvell and Brenda Norvell.

Bronco Federal Credit Union donated the savings bond and DFA the commemorative coins.
