COURTLAND—Southampton High School’s David Strozier made 16 saves during the Indians’ 3-1 loss to Bluestone Thursday.
Indian Matthew Cook scored a goal, and Johnnie Tribbett had the assist.
“We gave up three goals in a 10-minute span in the first half before we scored,” said Southampton Coach Scott Edwards. “We played well in the second half, but were unable to make our scoring chances count. We ended up having more shots on goal than Bluestone, but could not score.”
The Indians will travel to Franklin for a 4 p.m. game on Thursday, April 21.
