LAWRENCEVILLE—Victoria Barrett scored the lone goal during Franklin’s 8-1 loss to Brunswick Academy Thursday.

Barrett’s goal was the first score of the game.

Four of Franklin’s key players were out with injuries, said Coach Brandon Ivey.

“Brunswick is a well coached team and they have some very talented players,” Ivey said.

The Broncos are 2-2 and will host Southampton High School at 4:30 p.m. Thursday, April 21.
