Salisbury- Terry V. Kane, age 87, wife of George E. Kane, of Salisbury, passed into Heaven on Wednesday April 13, 2011.

Throughout her disability, George had lovingly cared for her moment by moment in their home.

Terry was born in Surry County, Virginia on March 14, 1924 to James and Etta Ellis. Her father died when she was only three and her mother (d. 1979) taught her how to live as well as how make a living.

Terry loved cooking, sewing, gardening, and travelling. As long as she was physically able, she grew beautiful flowers. She remained devoted to the Lord Jesus Christ, her loving husband, family, and church. Everyone will miss her tender loving care, including her begonias, tulips, lilies, and even the raccoon that lives in the tree and waits for leftovers. Terry always had a sense of humour and she is smiling now without pain.

She is survived by her devoted husband; two children, Barbara Branch (husband Royce) and David Beale (wife Mary); a special granddaughter, Cathy Beale; five grandchildren; eight great- grandchildren; and great host of nieces, nephews, and other family members.

She is preceded in death by her parents and all her brothers and sisters.

A funeral will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at Bounds Funeral Home on East Main Street in Salisbury where friends may call one hour prior to the service. Rev. Lou G. Bradley will officiate. Interment will follow in Springhill Memory Gardens in Hebron.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Coastal Hospice, P.O. Box 1733, Salisbury, MD 21802 or Wicomico Nursing Home, Activities Fund, 900 Booth Street, Salisbury, MD 21804. Visit www.boundsfuneralhome.com to send letters of condolence.
