CHESAPEAKE—Ronald Francis Vincent died April 11, 2011, at his home in Chesapeake, Virginia.

Formerly of Emporia-Greensville, he was born May 24, 1942, to the late B.B. and Frances Somner Vincent of Skippers.

He is survived by his wife, Margaret Garrett Vincent; daughter, Rhonda Bridgeman (Frankie) of Deep Creek; sons Ronald Jr. (Jennifer) of Boykins, Kevin B. (Karen) of Roanoke Rapids, N.C., B. Keith (Jenn) of Smithfield, Gregory G. (Shonna) of Stony Creek and Nicholas S. (Tammy) of Mechanicsville; 17 grandchildren; a sister, Joan Herring; and brothers Billy, James and Lindsey.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, April 13, 2011 at the Deep Creek United Methodist Church, 141 N. George Washington Hwy, N., Chesapeake, Va., 23323. The family will receive guests at a luncheon immediately following the ceremony at the church.

Arrangements are under the care and direction of the Great Bridge Chapel of Oman Funeral Home & Crematory, 653 Cedar Road, Chesapeake.
