GREENSVILLE—Franklin girls’ tennis team lost 7-2 to Greensville on Wednesday.

Greensville took five of six single matches and two of three doubles matches to down the Lady Broncos for the second time this season.

Franklin’s wins came at No. 4 singles with Jeanetta Sessoms winning 8-4 and at No. 3 doubles with the Franklin duo of Kierra Cofield and Maura Zurfluh once again outlasting the Greensville duo for an 8-6 win.

In exhibition doubles, Franklin’s tandem of Rebecca Gray and Tyreckka Hawks defeated Greensvilles’ Kaycha Williams and Tierra Lucas.
