Windsor boys’ tennis team falls 8-1 to Nandua

WINDSOR—The Windsor boys’ tennis team lost 8-1 to Nandua on Monday.

“We did not have our number two singles player, so we had to forfeit the number six singles and number three doubles matches,” said Coach Tom Michael.

• No. 1 singles—Brian Reese (NHS) defeated Bryce Lawrence (WHS) 8-6

• No. 2 singles—Nathan Evans (NHS) defeated Kyle Hollowell (WHS) 8-4

• No. 3 singles—Marcus Mapp (NHS) defeated Cody Reese (WHS) 9-8 (7-4 tiebreaker)

• No. 4 singles—Daniel Lassiter (NHS) defeated Maurice Bynum (WHS) 8-0

• No. 5 singles—Vladamir Burrows defeated Tom Hogan (WHS) 8-5

• No. 1 doubles—Lawrence/Hollowell defeated Reese/ Evans 8-3.

• No. 2 doubles—Mapp/Lassiter defeated Reese/Bynum 8-6.
