FRANKLIN—The Rev. Eddie Edwards Lee Jr., 72, died March 24, 2011, at his home.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. today at White Oak Spring Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will be in Wilder-Cherry Family Cemetery, Aulander, N.C.

Rev. Lee was the minister of White Oak Spring Missionary Baptist Church, Franklin, for 32 years.

Survivors include his wife, Inex Horton Lee; sons Richard Earl Lee of New York, Curtis R. Lee at home, Eddie Alonzo Lee of Washington, D.C., Wendell Lee of Aulander, N.C., and Maurice Lee of Maryland; and sisters Thelma Bloomfield, Roberta Coleman and Shirley Alford, all of Maryland.

Wilder’s Funeral Home, Aulander, N.C., is in charge of arrangements.
