A son was born Feb. 18, 2011, at Sentara Obici Hospital in Suffolk to David and Lisa Babb of Courtland.

William Taylor weighed 7 pounds, 6 ounces and was 20¾ inches long.
Grandparents are Gary and Nancy Byrum of Zuni, Peggy Babb of Courtland and the late Norman Babb Sr.
Great-grandparents are Mildred Babb and Mary Glover, both of Franklin; Ralph Hushour and Vergie Williams, both of Windsor; and JoAnn Byrum of Suffolk.
Late great-grandfathers are Vernon Babb, Jimmy Glover, William T. Byrum and Frank Williams.
