To the Editor:

The Franklin Fire and Rescue hosted a fundraiser on Saturday, Feb. 26, for Hunterdale Fire Chief David Blythe.

We would like to thank everyone who sold tickets and we would especially like to thank everyone who bought tickets. We extend a big thank-you to every person who made a donation.

We would also like to thank the Boykins Fire Department, the Carrsville Fire Department and the Hunterdale Fire Department for helping make this a big success. A special thanks to Tyler Butler. He is credited with securing a large portion of our donation receipts.

Thanks are also extended to Devin Butler of the Carrsville Fire Department for giving us a big hand in this event.

Through this community mission effort, we raised in excess of $3,500 for Chief Blythe and his family. Thanks again to everyone who participated in this event.
