CHESAPEAKE—John Edward “Johnny” Speight, 73, of Chesapeake died March 2, 2011, at his home.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home in the Great Bridge Chapel. Burial will be in Beaver Hill Cemetery, Edenton, N.C.

Mr. Speight retired from Carolina Trailways as a driver.

Survivors include his wife, Kathryn B. Speight; two daughters; two sons, including John W. Speight of Carrsville; one sister and one brother.
