Story wins sportsmanship award

FRANKLIN—Adam Story received the Carter Stephenson Memorial “Do Your Best Award” during the Pinewood Derby hosted by Pack 17, High Street United Methodist Church, on Jan. 29 at the YMCA.
The award goes to the Scout who exhibited good sportsmanship and compossure in spite of his car not performing well.
Cub Scout Pack 17 Pinewood Derby overall winners were Christopher Clapp in first, Harrison Drumheller second, Carlos Whitehead third, Austin Cooper fourth and Clyde Miller fifth

Tiger, first grade—Luke Giles first, Joshua Turner second, Robbie Burton third
Wolf, second grade—Mason Brown first, Ernst Boyd second, Xander Broadbent third
Bear, third grade—Lane Colliflower first, Matthew Kerbaugh second, Kyle Vance third
Webelos I, fourth grade—Christopher Clapp first, Carlos Whitehead second, T.J. Moore third
Webelos II, fifth grade—Harrison Drumheller first, Austin Cooper second, Clyde Miller third.
