Story wins sportsmanship award

Adam Story, center, received Cub Scout Pack 17’s Carter Stephenson Memorial Do Your Best Award during the Pinewood Derby as Cubmaster Kent Stephenson and Jennifer Stephenson look on.

FRANKLIN—Adam Story received the Carter Stephenson Memorial “Do Your Best Award” during the Pinewood Derby hosted by Pack 17, High Street United Methodist Church, on Jan. 29 at the YMCA.

The award goes to the Scout who exhibited good sportsmanship and compossure in spite of his car not performing well.

Cub Scout Pack 17 Pinewood Derby overall winners were Christopher Clapp in first, Harrison Drumheller second, Carlos Whitehead third, Austin Cooper fourth and Clyde Miller fifth

Webelos I, fourth grade—Christopher Clapp first, Carlos Whitehead second, T.J. Moore third

Webelos II, fifth grade—Harrison Drumheller first, Austin Cooper second, Clyde Miller third.
