Newit E. Cabell, Jr., 72, of Sedley, passed away on Wednesday, February 16, 2011. He was a graduate of Virginia Tech. He was preceded in death by his parents, Newit E. Cabell, Sr. and Evelyn Williams Cabell.

He is survived by his wife, Sybil Cabell; his children, Steven Cabell, Debra Bradshaw, Billie Lang, Bobbie Butler, Bettie Walker, Jeanie Jackson and Dell Wilson; thirteen grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
