Barbara A. Moresi of Holly Springs, N.C., and Wayne MacAulay of Sausalito, Calif., have announced the engagement of their daughter, Jody M. Moresi, to Joshua A. Marks.

He is the son of Eddie and Wanda Marks Jr. of Courtland.

The bride-to-be is a 2003 graduate of Cardinal Gibbons High School in Raleigh, N.C., and a 2007 Magna Cum Laude graduate of Barton College in Wilson, N.C., where she received a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice and criminology. She is a securities investigator with the North Carolina Department of Secretary of State in Raleigh.

Her fiancé graduated from Southampton High School in 2003 and Barton College in 2007 with a degree in criminal justice and criminology. He is a police officer and member of the Honor Guard in Cary, N.C.

The couple will marry on March 19, 2011, in Raleigh.
