FRANKLIN—Tony Clark has been named general manager and director of advertising for Tidewater Publications LLC.

A Capron resident, Clark joined the Franklin-based media company’s staff in October as a marketing consultant and director of special projects.

Tidewater Publications publishes The Tidewater News, Western Tidewater Living and related digital products.

“Tony has been a terrific addition to our staff and will do well in his expanded role,” said Steve Stewart, publisher and president of Tidewater Publications. “He understands the readership area and the importance of providing first-rate service to readers and advertisers.”

Clark serves on the Board of Directors for the Franklin-Southampton Area Chamber of Commerce, and is chairman of the Capron United Methodist Church Administrative Council and involved in the Capron-Drewryville Athletic Association.

Clark lives in Capron with his wife and two children.
