Input sought on economic needs of area

CHESAPEAKE—South Hampton Roads Resource Conservation & Development Council seeks public input to develop its five-year strategic plan.

The Council is a nonprofit that helps Chesapeake, Isle of Wight, Norfolk, Portsmouth, Suffolk, Surry and Virginia Beach meet the natural resource and economic needs of the region. The focus over the last five years has been eco-tourism, improving the agricultural economy and water quality, and revitalization of urban/suburban neighborhoods.
