FRANKLIN—Carolyn Barnes Britt, 69, of Franklin died Feb. 1, 2011, at Courtland Health Care Center.

Funeral services were held Saturday, Feb. 5, at Piney Grove Baptist Church in Franklin. Burial was in Southview Cemetery.

Mrs. Britt was a native of Southampton County.

She is survived by her brothers Andrew, Prince and Harry Barnes.

William M. Johnson and Sons Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
