WAKEFIELD—Elmo Crocker, 83, of Wakefield died Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2011, at Sentara Obici Hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Ebenezer Baptist Church, Ivor. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Mr. Crocker was a native of Southampton County and retired as a maintenance worker with Sidwell Friends School after 39 years.

Survivors include daughters Annie Richardson of Hopewell, Shirley Crocker of Washington, D.C., Catherine Mack of Wakefield and Doris Clark of Hopewell; sons John Crocker and Bobby Crocker, both of Washington, D.C.; and one brother, Linwood Crocker of Wakefield.

Crocker Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
