SUFFOLK—Maebelle Chappell Wilson, 94, of Suffolk, died Jan. 28, 2011, in Sentara Obici Hospital.

Funeral services were held Tuesday at Savage’s United Methodist Church. Burial was in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Wilson was a retired sales clerk from Roses Department Store in Suffolk after 32 years of employment.

Survivors include daughters Frances Lawrence and Edna M. Wilson of New York; and sisters Eula Lenz of Florida and Irene Redd of Windsor.

Miller Funeral Home, Gatesville, was in charge of arrangements.
