FRANKLIN—The Franklin Broncos were taken down 56-53 by Nandua on Monday night.

“We came out flat tonight and it cost us the game,” said Bronco Coach Danny Dillon. “Nandua was much bigger than we were, just like every other team we play, and normally we can overcome that with our hustle, but not tonight.”

In the first quarter, Nandua couldn’t miss a shot, while the Broncos struggled, hitting 1-for-7 from the 3-point land. Franklin also missed a number of lay-ups that led to the Broncos trailing 20-4.

From then on, the Broncos outplayed Nandua, cutting the score down several times, but could not get all the way back in it.

“Our inexperience continues to be an issue,” Dillon said. “We came off a great win Friday night and a great game against Southampton, and then to struggle like we

did tonight, it’s tough.”

Franklin was led by senior Justin Grant with 21 points.

The Warriors were led by Terrance Bronn with 20.

boys and most importantly seeing us put four quarters together at one time,” said Bronco Coach Robby Cutchins.

The junior varsity boys are 5-2.
