COURTLAND—Benjamin F. Stephens, 70, of Courtland, died January 9, 2011. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at New Olive Branch Baptist Church, Suffolk. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Survivors include one daughter, Essie Odom (Anthony); one son, Benjamin Brown (Linda); four sisters, Doris White, Lois Darden, Janet Stephens, Annette Boone; five brothers, Joe Stephens, William Stephens, Roger Stephens, James Stephens and Samuel Stephens.

William M. Johnson and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
