Ersula Fisher Younger

COURTLAND—Ersula Fisher Younger, 61, of the 2500 block of Glyndon Street, ended her life’s journey on December 23, 2010, in Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.
She was born in Southampton County and was the daughter of the late Armstead Fisher Sr. and Gracie Louise Blunt Fisher.
Ersula retired as a Telephone Dispatcher for Verizon Telephone Co. after 25 years of service.
Ersula is survived by two sons, Otis Fisher (Sandra) of Courtland, Va., and Maurice Younger of Temple Hills, Md.; five grandchildren; three sisters, Shirley Futrell (Nathaniel) of Courtland, Va.; Clementine Marsh (William) and Alice Cartwright of Norfolk, Va.; two brothers, Pastor Armstead Fisher Jr. (Gwendolyn) and Antonio Fisher (Stephanie) of Norfolk, Va.
A funeral will be held 11 a.m. December 31, 2010, at Galilee Baptist Church, 15688 Old Branchville Road in Branchville, Va., by Rev. Johnny Lyons. Burial will be in Bryants Baptist Church Cemetery in Capron, Va.
