FRANKLIN—Cecil O’Hara Ricks, 84, of Franklin, died Dec. 9, 2010, in Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.

Funeral services were held Sunday at Full Gospel Kingdom Church, Franklin. Burial was in Southview Cemetery.

Mr. Ricks was a native of Southampton County and attended public schools in the city of Franklin and Southampton County. He was retired from the Birdsong Peanut Co., Franklin.

Survivors include sons, Edward O. Hoskie, Earl Hoskie and Randolph Hoskie, all of Franklin; daughters Vanessa Hoskie Barnes and Mildred Hoskie of Courtland; and one sister, Marie Ricks Miles of Browns Mills, N.J.

Poole’s Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
