SEDLEY- Shirley Baldwin Oldham, 71, passed away December 14, 2010 at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital. She was born in Pinehurst, NC, the daughter of the late Rudolph J. and Mildred Lucas Baldwin and was predeceased by an infant brother. Mrs. Oldham was a former enrolled agent with H & R Block and a former peanut inspector with the USDA. She was a member of Sedley Baptist Church.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 50 years, Lloyd P. Oldham; three daughters, Mitz O. Yetter (Keith) of Newton, AL, Robin O. Nelson of Angier, NC, and Laura O. Vasser (Douglas) of Sedley, VA; seven grandchildren, Crystal, Jennifer, Rheanna, Raymond, Lloyd, Carla, and Cassidy; and two great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be conducted at 11 am Friday, December 17, 2010 at Wright Funeral Home, Franklin, VA with Rev. James W. Foreman officiating. Interment will follow in Rosemont Cemetery, Sedley. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 pm Thursday at the funeral home and suggests memorials be made to the American Heart Association, Mid-Atlantic Affiliate, 4217 Park Place Court, Glen Allen, Va. 23060-9979, or the American Lung Association, 5349 E.
