SMITHFIELD—Mildred Blythe Lynn, 86, died Dec. 13, 2010.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens Mausoleum in Suffolk with the Rev. Dennis Hughes officiating.

Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory in Suffolk and other times at the residence of granddaughter Connie and Tim Daughtrey.

Mrs. Lynn was born in Southampton County.

Survivors include six children, Brenda Wright, Lewis Richard “Tom” Lynn and Ann Long, all of Suffolk, Patricia Jones of Ivor, Connie L. Bryant of Windsor, and Donna Steeley of Chesapeake; two brothers, Carlton “Jigs” Blythe and Rudolph “Doodle” Blythe; 11 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
