Boykins, VA – Marjorie Jane Chase Stiglitz, 77, a former resident of Waukesha, WI, died December 9, 2010 at her residence. She was born in Milwaukee, WI, a daughter of the late Benjamin and Katherine Chase and was predeceased by two sons, Michael and Robert. Mrs. Stiglitz was an avid antique dealer and collector for over 50 years, loved gardenias, and enjoyed caring for others. She was Catholic. She was most proud of being the wife of Lt. Col. Robert A. Stiglitz, USMC, for over 57 years.

Besides her husband, she is survived by her daughter, Laurie Phipps (David) of Boykins; three sons, Daniel F. Stiglitz (Debbie) of Eagle, WI, David A. Stiglitz, and John P. Stiglitz, both of Boykins; sister-in-law, Mary Ann Stiglitz of Elm Grove, WI; ten grandchildren, Christin Overman, Laura Wickmann (Brett), Steven Overman (Clare), Robert Stiglitz, Danielle Stiglitz, Michael Stiglitz, Stephanie Stiglitz, Danya Thompson, Katrice Thompson, and Nicholas Weirich; three great-grandchildren, Michael, Rheanna, and Bayleigh Overman; friends, Donna Weirich and Stacey Drake; and many other relatives and friends.

A Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated at 11 am Tuesday, December 14, 2010 at St. Jude’s Catholic Church, Franklin, VA, with the Rev. Father Charles Saglio and the Rev. Raymond Bunn officiating. Interment will follow in Beechwood Cemetery, Boykins, VA. The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8:30 pm Monday at Wright Funeral Home, Boykins Chapel, where prayers will be offered at 7 pm.
