FRANKLIN—The Franklin School Board met for 5½ hours Thursday night behind closed doors to discuss the “performance of specific employees.”

The board did not name the employees.

No action was taken, and another meeting has been scheduled for 6 p.m. Monday, Dec. 6, in the School Board office at City Hall. The only item on the agenda for the special meeting is, again, the “performance of specific employees.”

School Board President Bill Scarboro said Friday the Monday meeting could last for several hours. He did not know if any public action would be taken after the closed-door session, which is permitted when discussing personnel.
