COURTLAND—Edward T. Ridley, 64, of Courtland died Nov. 29, 2010, at Sentara Obici Hospital.

A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Care Memorial Gardens in Courtland.

Ridley was employed with the Department of Transportation for 10 years until he retired.

Survivors include his wife of 36 years, Lula M. Ridley; five children, Helen Copeland and Angelina Ricks, both of Suffolk, Morris and Bryan Scott, both of Brooklyn, N.Y., and Loretta Batten of Courtland; and one sister, Elsie Judkins of Williamsburg.
