BRANCHVILLE—Deacon George Cutler Sr. of Branchville died Nov. 20, 2010, in Chesapeake.

Funeral services will be held at noon Saturday at Pleasant Plain Baptist Church, Drewryville. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

The Southampton County native was a self-employed farmer for more than 60 years.

Survivors include one son, George Cutler Jr. of Chesapeake; one sister, Mary C. Vick, Washington, D.C.; brothers, Earven Cutler of Lawrenceville, Ga., and Tonce Cutler, Washington, D.C.

William M. Johnson and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
