Brenda Nichols Milian

FRANKLIN—Brenda Nichols Milian went to be with the Lord on Sunday, Nov. 21, 2010, at Southampton Memorial Hospital.
She was born in Franklin, Va. She was the daughter of Jessie Clark Nichols and the late John Junious Nichols.
She graduated from Hayden High School in 1969 and was the senior class secretary.
She attended Paul D. Camp Community College and Norfolk State College.
Brenda was employed by QVC Distribution Center until her retirement.
She was a member of First Baptist Church, Hall Street.
She married James Milian.
Left to cherish her memory are two sons, Alger Nichols and his wife, Keisha, and Isiah Neal Milian; a daughter, Kristy Milian; her mother, Jessie Nichols; sister, Johnetta Nichols; brother, Michael Nichols; the loves of her life, grandchildren Kriesten Nichols and Jonathan Milian; Godson Rashad Tanner, devoted aunt Ruth Waldon; devoted friend, Barbara Tanner; two nephews; an uncle; four aunts; and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 29, 2010, at First Baptist Church with the Rev. Dwight Riddick officiating.
