Virginia Mease, 88, died Wednesday, November 17, 2010. The mother of Barbara Mease, she was a resident of Bloomington, IN. She was a long time supporter of The Children’s Center, sewing curtains for classrooms, baking cookies for celebrations and sending contributions to support programs.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard, her parents, Gideon P. and Margaret Fisher, brothers Gordon and Richard Fisher, and sister Lillian Fisher. She is survived by her children: Bud and Karen Mease of Louisville, KY; Barbara Mease and Randy Betz of Franklin, VA; Dave Mease of Nicasio, CA; Janet Mease of Bloomington, IN; Jeff Mease and Marie Metelnick of Bloomington, IN; as well as nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

A service of celebration and remembrance will be held at Bell Trace Community Room in Bloomington, IN, on Sunday, November 21, 2010 at 1:00 pm.
