FRANKLIN—David Lee Banks, 77, died Nov. 12 at Southampton Memorial Hospital after a short illness.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at New Hope Baptist Church, 1415 Rosewood Ave., Franklin. Burial will be in Southview Cemetery.
Banks retired from Union Camp after 35 years and was a deacon at Mt. Calvary Holiness Church.
He was the son of the late Lee Banks and Elizabeth Baker. His son, Michael Banks, preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife, Celestine; two daughters, Gloria J. Warren (David) and Pamela B. Alexander; two sons, Calvin L. Boone and Johnnie F. Boone; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Elvin Vaughan Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
