NEWSOMS—Walter M. Parham of Newsoms died Oct. 22, 2010, at Southampton Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services will be held at

1 p.m. Saturday at Mt. Tabor Baptist Church, Newsoms. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Survivors include his wife, Mary M. Parham; daughters Mildred Joyner of Capron, and Brinda A. Walker, Barbara Parham, Virgie Parham Washington, all of Richmond; and a son, Walter Parham Jr. of Courtland.

William M. Johnson and Sons Funeral Home handled arrangements.
