To the Editor:

The Isle of Wight County Commission on Aging extends a thank-you to everyone who helped make the 2010 Senior Health Fair a success on Oct. 7 at the Smithfield Center.

We enjoyed seeing the more than 200 seniors who participated. The program was packed with special guest speakers and entertainment.

More than 20 exhibitors provided timely and informative materials and information. The YMCA Senior Dancers stole the show.

Music by “22” kept toes tapping. Senior Services supplied a delicious lunch. The wonderful door prizes provided by local merchants and exhibitors added excitement for everyone.

How fortunate we are to have a beautiful conference facility like the Smithfield Center to hold these important events. The professional staff at the center is always on hand to help to make our meetings a success.

We hope that everyone enjoyed the Senior Health Fair as much as we enjoyed being a part of helping to keep our seniors healthy and happy.
