To the Editor:

There is no need for me to list any of the many great accomplishments that our congressional representative to the U. S. Congress, Randy Forbes, has made on behalf of our district as well as for the entire nation.

What I want to impress upon you is the quality of his representation in that he has been steadfast in his actions, abiding by our great Constitution when proposing legislation as well as voting for legislation that conforms to those abiding principles.

He is fully aware of the issues presented in the House of Representatives since he reads and understands the bills as presented while other representatives freely admit that they don’t even bother to read the bills.

He knows the effect on those of us whom he represents and constantly tries to refrain from government overspending as well as overtaxing, while at the same time, limiting burdensome laws that infringe on our individual rights.

His support of our military is one of the finest things that he brings to the table.

He is keenly aware of those laws that will cripple small business enterprises as well as those that harm larger businesses in their efforts to provide greater employment with satisfactory pay scales and benefits.

In addition, he is always aware of the plight of the less fortunate and includes that as a very important issue in his modis operandi.

Since this will be my 30th opportunity to vote for my district representative, this is my first letter to the editor asking my fellow citizens to support my choice of candidates.

I believe Randy Forbes is one of the best representatives that we have ever had. The choice is clear, and I consider it a privilege to recommend him for another two years in Washington to help straighten out this terrible plight into which our government has been plunged.
