PORTSMOUTH— Gloria Mae Pope Blount, 70, of Portsmouth died Sept. 30, 2010, at her residence.

Funeral services were held Monday at Union Bethel Baptist Church. Burial was in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Blount was a born in Boykins.

Survivors include her husband, Melvin C. Blount Sr.; three daughters; one son; one sister and one brother.

Corprew Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
