FRANKLIN—Franklin High School on Tuesday came from behind to win its Tri-Rivers District opener, defeating Surry in three out of five sets.

Set scores, with Franklin’s results listed first, were 21-25, 24-26, 25-20, 25-20, 15-6.

FHS sophomore Takeisha Rawls was 100 percent on her service.

Franklin lost to Northampton in a non-district match Wednesday. Scores were 19-25, 8-25, 25-17, 26-24, 11-15.
