Annette M. Lucas

CAPRON—Annette M. Lucas was born in Unkel, West Germany, on Nov. 11, 1951.

Annette M. Lucas of Capron passed away peacefully on Sept. 26 at Southampton Memorial Hospital.

She was the mother of Timmy, Ruby, Rusty, Jimmy and Covenant. She was the sister of Margerette Lucas.

She was a jewel amongst friends.

Annette was extremely well-educated. She was multi-lingual. She received her degree in German from Dusseldorf. She taught German literature for many years. She also worked as a graphic designer for a Japanese advertising agency in New York City.

She received her Bereiter (German licensed horse trainer) after completing a long and intense program in Warendorf, Germany. Her love of horses and passion for teaching had a positive influence on many people throughout the world with their equestrian endeavors.

Her thoughtfulness, generosity and selflessness will be greatly missed by many.

A memorial service will be held at Grace Lutheran Church, 25280 New Market Road, Courtland, on Oct. 9, at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Boykins United Methodist Church, food pantry, in memory of Annette M. Lucas.
