Isle of Wight and Southampton County Public Schools, which were closed Thursday due to heavy rains, will remain closed today.

School official in Isle of Wight had said Thursday night that classes would start two hours later than usual but announced this morning that the schools would be closed again .

Also, Franklin High School’s home football game against West Point,  scheduled for 7 p.m. today, has been postponed until 6 p.m. Monday.
