SUFFOLK–Peggy L Castello, 58, died September 18, 2010 at Sentara Obici Hospital. Born in Corbin, KY, she was a former flight attendant with United Airlines and was co-owner of the Happy Horse Bar & Grill.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 20 years, Wayne Goodwin Castello; one daughter, Carla Marie Venable of Beaverdam, WI; one son, Michael Furseth of Wisconsin; her mother, Mattie Raleigh Barnett of Virginia Beach; three stepdaughters, Bonnie Smailes (Paul) and Lynne Swartz (Bill), all of Elizabeth City, NC, Gay Spencer of Hertford, NC; one step-son, Dennis Castello (Patricia) of Virginia Beach; one sister, Irene Barnett of Virginia Beach; 13 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Castello was predeceased by her father, Oscar Junior Barnett.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, September 21, 2010 from 7 to 8:30 pm at Wright Funeral Home, Franklin, where the funeral will be conducted at 7:30 pm with the Rev. Willis Switzer officiating.  www.wrightfuneralhome.org
