FRANKLIN—Franklin police on Wednesday arrested a 16-year-old Sedley boy in connection with two armed robberies near Barrett’s Landing on Sept. 2.

The teen, whom the police did not identify, was charged with three counts of robbery and three counts of use of a firearm in a felony. He was taken to the Tidewater Detention Home.

Tremain Marquis Freeman, 20, and Jaquan Williams, 21, both of Franklin, were arrested last week in connection with the crimes.

The trio is accused of robbing three teenage boys at gunpoint near Barrett’s Landing during the We Be Jammin’ concert. None of the victims were injured.
