SUFFOLK—Joseph L. Wellons, 84, died Sept. 3, 2010, at Nansemond Pointe Rehabilitation and Health Care Center.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday at Tabernacle Christian Church, Suffolk.
Wellons was a native of Southampton.
He retired as a supply clerk from Planters Peanut/Kraft after 42 years.
Survivors include daughter Marion Wilburn Willis of Bronx, N.Y.; sisters Beatrice Porter of Suffolk and Esther Vivian Evans of Portsmouth; and brother Marshall Odell Wellons of Lexington Park, Md.
