How’s business: The pharmacy this year has been very busy. Flu season is now rapidly approaching so we really want to spread the word about how important it is that every person receive a flu shot.

One thing you wish everyone knew about your business: Our pharmacy offers a delivery service from 1 to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday. Also, for customers who do not have prescription insurance coverage, we offer the Walgreens W-Card, in which you can get a three-month supply on many generics for $12, discounts on most brand name medications, 10 percent off Walgreens brand products in the store and 10 percent off photo finishing.

Something you offer that a customer won’t find elsewhere:  You can walk in to any Walgreens Pharmacy at any time during pharmacy hours and receive a flu vaccination.

Advice to young entrepreneurs: Always look at each situation as a positive learning experience.

Your role model (in business or in life generally): My mother, Deborah Councill.  We all have been through a lot over the past year and a half as a family, and she has the most courage and strength of any person that I have ever met.
If I go through life, and make lasting impressions on people and value each day as she does, I will truly have lived my life to the fullest.
