FRANKLIN—A 25-year-old Franklin man faces felony drug charges after police executed a search warrant at his home Tuesday evening.

Brandon De’Shun Cary was taken into custody without incident at his 323 Pearl St. apartment at about 6 p.m., said Franklin police spokesman Lt. Tim Whitt.

According to a search warrant, officers seized several items from the home, including five individually wrapped bags of crack cocaine, one plastic bag or marijuana, a plate with a razor containing suspected cocaine residue, a .22-caliber pistol, a stun gun and several cellular telephones.

Cary was charged with maintaining or operating a fortified drug house, possession of crack cocaine with intent to distribute and possession of a firearm while in possession of narcotics.

He is being held at the Western Tidewater Regional Jail in Suffolk without bond.
