SUFFOLK—An early Thursday morning accident on South Quay Road has claimed the life of a Courtland woman.

Patricia Ann Hornok, 59, was identified as the victim, Suffolk Police said.

According to police, Hornok was driving east at about 1 a.m. when her vehicle left the road, crossed a ditch and hit a high bank. She was thrown from the vehicle and pronounced dead on the scene.
