CHARLOTTESVILLE—Rita Leigh Pritchett, 56, died suddenly Aug. 18, 2010, in Charlottesville.

Rita was a member of Grace United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brother James William Hinton, and sister Melissa.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Lisa Leigh Barbers, sons Scott and William Taylor Jr. and five grandchildren that she adored, and her beloved lifelong companion William Taylor.

A private service for friends and family will be held at her most cherished place, her home and land, at 2 p.m. Sunday with the Rev. Paul Young officiating.
