Linwood “Bruce” Ford

STAFFORD—Linwood “Bruce” Ford, 50, died August 12, 2010. Funeral services will be held today at noon at Engram Funeral Home. Burial will be in Southview Cemetery.

Ford was born July 12, 1960. He was the second born child of Ruby and the late George Ford. He attended Southampton County Public Schools. He later moved to northern Virginia and was employed with Service Solution in Stafford. He was a member of Berean Christian Fellowship Church.

Survivors include his fiance’ Vanessa Million; mother Ruby Ford, of Franklin; one daughter, Chonita Haithcoats, of Tucker, Ga.; two sons, Marcus Haithcoats of Hampton and Dion Thornton of Sterling, Va.; two stepdaughters, Alexa Million and Kiara Million of Stafford; four grandchildren; five siblings, Ricky Hill of Franklin, Gloria Hunt of Suffolk, Cynthia Riddick of Smithfield, Cassandra Kigler and Michael Ford, all of Franklin, Dana Best of Portsmouth and Kenneth Ford of Hampton; two aunts, Mildred Deloatch and Elizabeth Cuffee; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
